With customers in great numbers at its stall, Ajashy Engineering attracted meaningful crowd in bauma CONEXPO INDIA 2018. Following a promising start, the company witnessed enthusiastic overwhelming response and robust participation from the industry.

The main focus area of the company has been mobility of service and repairs for plant and equipment and thus we launched Container Workshop in this bauma which is displayed along with company’s established product mobile service van – a multipurpose vehicle used for maintenance and repair of construction and mining equipment at site told Vasishat.

“Being the only manufacturer of these kind of products in India, we have earned distinctive recognition in the market. With the addition of container workshop our portfolio in this space becomes even stronger as industry required a pack and move full-fledged service solution like this ,” Singh adds.

The oil & gas and road equipment manufacturers and suppliers also have partnered with an Italian company G.F. Gordini S.r.l, and has launched front end attachments for construction equipment whose full range will be launched in early 2019. This new tie up will diversify focus of the company on multiple utility of equipment so that the capital cost and operational cost for acquiring and maintaining equipment could be lowered.

Year ahead
Turnout from elections this year would mostly determine the construction industry’s trajectory. This is because the way the government has worked since 2014 has contributed significantly to the construction industry. Owing to the positive environment that has been created, the industry is keen on the government staying.

Still, considering the industry we are in, a lot depends on the market which is quite upbeat and has witnessed growth of 35 per cent. If the present government stays, the industry is likely to witness steady growth not just in 2019 but also in 2020 and 2021.

Going ahead, prospects for road segment are looking up in addition to new ventures and in-land projects that are likely to fortify growth and seem promising.

Talking about output, the capacity has to be augmented greatly in the wake of the current demand glut.

“We have to increase capacity by three times. While we were making the products, our focus was on providing quality that led to a number of repeat orders. So, we have been quite steady in that,” both of the speakers resonated.

If the present government stays, the industry is likely to witness steady growth not just in 2019 but also in 2020 and 2021.
